Pneumatic Crane
I had to have a bigger crane than Lego! This model is 32 inches long from the end of the boom to the back of the truck. The boom itself is 28 1/2 inches long closed, and 48 1/2 inches long full extension. The pneumatic system uses 2 air tanks, 1 pump and 4 pistons. The truck has 8 wheel steering, 4 synchronized outriggers, a V6 model style engine with opening engine lid and a toolbox. The crane extends with a manual hand crank and the hook is attached to a spool that works in the same fashion. |
